Lena The Plug also known as Lena Nersesian, Lena was raised in a conservative Christian Armenian-American family. She earned a psychology degree from the University of California and worked regular jobs (including at a social media startup, where she got the nickname "The Plug" for being a reliable "plug" for getting things done) before going full-time online. She began posting on Snapchat and Instagram around 2016 as a fitness/lifestyle model (glute workouts, vlogs, pranks, and Q&As).
